Do you have someone deserving of one of the NODA London Society Nominated Awards? There are 3 awards

The Louise English award is for a person under 30 years old who has made an outstanding contribution to their Society. The expectation is that this would not be solely through performance..

The Shelly Lemesh Unsung Hero award is for members or helpers of a Society who without payment and when not appearing on stage has made an exceptional contribution in the last year to their Society's production(s), whether backstage, in the fields of props, costumes, sound, lighting or other fields as the Society may specify.

The Sylvia Rawlings award is for a person who has made a long term outstanding contribution to Amateur Theatre. Their contribution may be in any form whatsoever but the expectation is that this award is for truly a lifetime in Amateur Theatre.

Please note: You may nominate one person from your society for each of these awards. Multiple entries will be disregarded

The very latest date for the return of your nomination forms is 10 March 2025

The Shinfield Players Scenic award in memory of Pat Barr

The Shinfield Players Scenic award in memory of Pat Barr is presented annually for the best self-built scenery in the region. The winner is decided by an independent panel of judges Socieites are nominated for this award by their Regional Representative. Training Grant for Workshops

A Society in the NODA London Region wishing to set up a training event may be entitled to a grant from NODA London towards the cost of running it. Bearing in mind that the main beneficiaries of a grant should be Society and Individual Members of NODA, there are two conditions which must be fulfilled in order that a Society qualifies for a grant. a) the training workshop should be made available to other groups in the District. b) the words ‘Supported by NODA London’ must be on all the publicity.
