The North West All-District Drama Award

2023 saw the launch of our All-Districts Drama Award – an opportunity to celebrate the wealth of talent shown in the many and varied plays performed in the North West region. The award is open to all plays performed in the North West.

Like the Drama Festival before it, all plays will be reviewed by the same adjudicator who will attend your performance in your venue, then write a comprehensive review including both praise and points for improvement. It’s like a festival, without the need to ship your cast, crew, set and costumes! All reviews will follow the same criteria - discussing staging, performance, and direction. A shortlist will be announced and there will be one Award winner and one runner-up announced at the North West Gala Night, for the best play across the whole region.

This Award is in addition to your District Representative’s review and any nominations you might receive for the District or Regional NODA Awards. The more plays reviewed, the higher the accolade of winning and the better we celebrate the strengths of drama production across the region.

To enter, simply email justine.sutcliffe@noda.org.uk with the dates of your play/plays. The first two plays can be included free of charge and any further plays on 2024 will be charged £15 fee per play entered and societies may enter as many plays as they wish.
