“Vetting Procedures” is a comedy set in a Veterinary Practice. Written and directed by Thomas Cobb, it contained all the essential elements of modern farce. It was fast-paced, with an ever more complicated series of events, mistaken identities, lots of puns, physical comedy and slapstick. This well-cast team of actors delivered some really strong performances and a hilarious evening of comedic mayhem, which was received with much laughter and applause from an appreciative audience.
The set was impressive, very detailed and incorporated a large number of doors for all the speedy exits and entrances required by the plot. Appropriate costumes and a plethora of props created a great visual background for the action. The tech team provided excellent sound and lighting and appropriate and amusing cat-themed music was interspersed between the scenes. All in all a highly entertaining evening – well done cast and production team!
