The Sorcerer

This attractive production had simple but very pretty scenery and beautiful costumes. A fine crop of singers included a good balance of voices in the chorus, and some lovely solo singing. The members of the chorus were always involved and concentrating on the action. They gradually succumbed to the potion’s effects most effectively with super individual reactions, and I had huge admiration for the four who slept on the apron throughout the interval.
