A strong cast presented this fast-paced cross between a whodunit and a farce.  A Christmas party is attended by the acerbic Daria.  She is murdered.  Or is she?  And by whom?  A whimsical story where people who are dead often don’t stay that way and everybody has something to hide.
The single set was well designed and conformed to the period setting of 1936. The Flora Nouveau wallcovering in the William Morris style was a perfect choice. I would have expected a little more Christmas décor.
Direction was pacy, particularly the opening scene which was relentless.  LX/FX plot was good with some atmospheric sound effects.  Costuming was excellent with particularly good clothing for Felix, Simon and Daria.  A very entertaining evening at the theatre.
