The Addams Family

The Addams Family came to Redbridge with this tremendous version by IODS. The costumes, make up, props and lighting made for a spectacle that rivalled a professional production and the talented cast gave excellent performances of the familiar characters Morticia, Gomez, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Wednesday and Pugsley. The make-up design made all the characters look ghoulishly terrific and the astonishing wardrobe brought everyone to life. 

It’s a fun show with good parts for many. It leans heavily on the busy Gomez in song and acting but in Russell Gillary, IODS had an excellent performer who was superb in the part. He was well supported by a close-knit cast who brought much to these characters.
