Summer End

This production by the Priory Players was of far higher quality than its Community Hall venue might have suggested to a general public unaccustomed to amateur theatre attendance. Any weaknesses are swiftly exposed with a small cast of five, but none were evident in this production. Performances were underplayed appropriately to the intimacy of the hall. Characters were clearly drawn and movement choreographed to reflect the reality of the narrative, thus avoiding any sense of theatrical artificiality.
