Mounting Shrek is not for the faint hearted, requiring an extremely complex set, prosthetics, makeup, lighting and sound arrangements. This is before considering the need for strong and versatile principals and ensemble called upon individually in a huge number of cameo roles. DAODS rose to the challenge on all fronts, although it was a shame that not all performances had the level of technical illumination or auditory support to show off every performance to best advantage.
