Seussical

Seussical is an excellent choice of show for young performers which gives opportunities for lots of principal roles as well as some big ensemble numbers. Overall this production was bright and colourful with some great costumes and the cast of nearly thirty young performed with energy. Despite some initial ‘first night nerves’ there were no apparent missed cue lines and all entrances and exits were well executed. Working close to the audience as the cast had to here is never easy and there was some good interaction between individual performers and the audience. Among the main parts there were some really good, confident performances and the ensemble sung and danced well. This was a most entertaining evening.
