Robin Hood

Epping Forest played host to its equally famous friend Sherwood Forest in Theydon Bois Pantomime, Robin Hood. All the famous characters were in great form with songs and routines from Friar Tuck, Little John, Will Scarlett and Much the Miller. Maid Marion was hilarious as a woman with attitude, not to be pushed around, accompanied by our Dame, Nurse Nellie. Spoiler alert but the Sherriff of Nottingham came a cropper to our hero Robin Hood.

This very talented cast all had their moments to shine and the singing, staging and comedy was of the highest quality. Theydon Bois is a large village with its own identity and the locals support the drama society very well and their Panto, for many, is the highlight of their year.
