"Night Must Fall" was The Chameleons autumn production and they successfully presented this psychological thriller 'in the round'.  Despite being written in the early 1930's it remains a charming but unsettling, thought provoking thriller. Emlyn Williams' script builds the tension as we witness a shifting of power from the formidable elderly matriarch, Mrs Bramson to the confident conman Dan, There were many humorous moments to relieve the tension. An experienced, talented cast cleverly recreated all the various atmospheres as Williams intended.  In particular much is demanded of the three leads, Dan, Mrs Bramson and her niece Olivia and it was good to see these actors stepping up to the mark so well.
