Expectations are always high for any presentation of a Shakespeare play.
The cast worked well in this larger than expected performance space on a minimalist set. There were some good individual performances with some of the role’s gender reversed to add to the various complexities of the tragedy.
Overall, this was an enjoyable evening in a beautiful location, with an appreciative audience for an abridged version of the Bard. Well done to everyone involved.
