Thank you for inviting me to your production of Little Shop of Horrors. The production had been very well cast with some great performances from the principals and creativity from the director. It was dynamic, entertaining, and very enjoyable and it was clear that the cast and the audience were thoroughly enjoying themselves!

The show was slick and pacey, and very entertaining and the director had worked with the cast to understand their characters which they had all developed very well. It was abundantly clear that the cast had gelled, and they worked brilliantly together. There were some lovely directorial touches and physical theatre which really developed the humour of the piece. The use of the stage space outside the shop window was very creative and gave the opportunity to include some extra humour.

It was very clear that the musical director had worked hard with the cast to produce excellent vocals. The harmonies were very good, and the female trio were able to sing them accurately whilst dancing energetically on stage. The choreography was interesting, creative, and very effective. The choreography added depth and energy to their performances.  This hired in set and Audrey puppets complemented the production well. It was quite a large set which when it had the fourth iteration of Audrey 2 mid-stage meant that the acting area was relatively small, but the cast coped well. There was a lot of attention to detail with the costumes and props both of which really enhanced the production.
