Based on the story of Joseph from the Book of Genesis this has become a much-loved musical with many well known songs which appeals to old and young audiences alike.

The principals: Joseph and the two narrators gave polished performances with great stage presence and sang tunefully with ease and a confident air. Pharoah gave a brilliant Elvis impression and Mrs Potiphar was hilarious in her seduction of Joseph. The group of brothers were a tight-knit and cohesive group, bouncing off each other with great chemistry, overacting but doing it appropriately and not over the top. The quality of their dancing and singing was brilliant and they performed their numbers with great energy. Seated on a raised upstage section and on stage all the time, the choir of youngsters gave good support in their songs. They were tuneful and beautifully in time. I was pleased to see that they had choreographed movements in the brothers’ songs and matching accessories to wear

This is such a fun musical, and the director ensured that it was full of pace and had enormous heart. It had been very well cast and each of the actors had developed their characters very well. The principals and ensemble worked together brilliantly, with excellent chemistry, energy, and teamwork. The musical directors had worked very effectively with them to produce strong vocals and all the cast sang with confidence and produced accomplished performances to a very high standard. The balance of voices was superb, with all the different tones blending very well indeed. The excellent and energetic choreography created the mood of the story straight from the first number. This was a brilliantly vibrant production.  Congratulations to all involved; a production to be proud of!
