Jack and the Beanstalk

This delightful festive production was a superb team effort. The fabulously clever script had topical jokes, silliness, and enough subtlety in the innuendo not to cause difficulties to the parents of younger audience members. As well as some very silly puns and visual gags, there was a great deal of musical joking, but neither this nor the deft references to BA were so laboured as to make anyone feel left out. Amazing costumes, beautiful scenery, excellent performances and tremendous energy and commitment from everyone on stage made the evening a real treat.
