Forced to postpone their normal January Panto extravaganza by the Winston Churchill theatre becoming a Vaccine Hub, Argosy realised the potential of Humpty Dumpty for egg-sploiting any number of egg-cellent puns as an Easter treat.   A smaller venue with limited facilities reduced the scale, but the cast and crew rallied round and we laughed at the fine panto performances from young and old, with singing (to backing tracks) of a class not usually heard in pantomimes, especially from 16 year-old Prince Humpty and his beloved Miss Muffet - as this version involved characters from other pantos to add extra interest to the plot. Well done all - and watch out for the usual January weekend in 2023 back at the Winston Churchill.
