This revised version of this well known classic is not performed enough and a show that will have you singing and dancing in the aisles. DAOD’s performance of ‘Half a Sixpence’ was full-hearted, colourful, entertaining and created wonderful company ‘pictures’ throughout this show stopping musical. This was an outstanding production with a relatively simple but extremely effective set, led by very strong leads and a brilliant ensemble of talented dances. This production left a lasting impression on my heart and buckets of ‘Flash, Bang and a Wallop’ in entertainment value!
