Hairspray

Hairspray was certainly something that was needed to keep the hairs on the back of my neck under control, as this was quite simply a remarkable production! The entire run sold out six-weeks before the first show and that was including an extra Sunday show too. The cast’s enthusiasm was unless and came bounding across to the audience from start to finish. The energy and drive of the entire cast was tremendous, the choreography was delightful and performed to perfection. Very rarely are there productions which are faultless and this was one of those vary rare shows. A profession production in all but name and one that had the entire audience on their feet, giving the cast and crew a standing ovation, after standing ovation at each and every performance.
