This show had a great set, good costumes and some good numbers. The ensemble numbers were highlights with the both the Hot Box and the Havana clubs very atmospheric.  ‘Sit Down, You’re Rocking the Boat’ was excellent, with the full chorus all moving and singing as I have come to expect. It was well worth the encore that the staging gave it, with great tambourine work by the Salvation Army girls. As mentioned, costumes were good with a nice mix of pin-striped and checked suits for the men, authentic Salvation Army uniforms and costumes for the Hot Box girls.  The chorus of supporting characters all played their part in the story and the Hot Box girls really brightened the show. A little more pace, at times, would have pushed the show on but relationships were good and there were some strong performances.
