The classic Russian satire on local government corruption was a good choice not only to close the SEDOS summer season but also to take to the Edinburgh Festival. Well cast with some excellent acting skills on show this montage of some pretty unpleasant characters worked well to give a thought provoking evening and although based in the 19th century perhaps act as a reflection of our own times.
