Evita

This was one of the best staged performances of this iconic modern opera I have seen using what was, in effect, scaffolding on wheels with a platform at the top and ladders of course for access.  The director’s use of this, together with all the choreography added an extra dimension and energy to the excellent performance from the large cast.  The cast set furniture and props which resulted in a very fast paced show.  Good sound balance and use of lighting complemented the excellent singing and active abilities of the cast whose costumes and hairstyles matched the period well.
