I was fortunate enough to attend the matinee performance of this production and the one thousandth performance that this society has ever performed since 1935 and it did not disappoint! This is a very talented society and professional in the manner that they put on their productions. I was personally blown away by the performance of Nicola in the title role – her rendition of ‘My Secret Love’ was in my opinion better than Dorris Day! A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon at the theatre and a society that constantly maintains and improves their standards with every production – here’s looking forward to your 2,000 performance!
