With over 20 classic Elvis songs featured, All Shook Up is a potential crowd please, even for an audience not necessarily familiar with the show. It also offers a significant number of principal roles as well as plenty of ensemble and dance opportunities. With a 50 strong company, DAODS was well-placed to make the most of opportunities offered. Principals were well-cast with distinct characters, Choreography exploited the talents of experienced dancers as well as making the most of “movers”. Staging made imaginative use of space. A well-attended night saw the audience on its feet by the end for a thoroughly enjoyable performance.
