After the excesses of Jesus Christ Superstar, this company returned to something more traditional though scarcely less demanding. Musical support was excellent though a few principal voices were sometimes too far back in the mix to be heard properly. Numbers were well choreographed and all ensemble numbers looked and sounded good. The piece ended with a great performance of the 42nd Street Ballet.
