NODA West Midlands Regional Conference

To: All Societies, Individual and Joint Members of the NODA West Midlands Region. 

The spread of the coronavirus has intensified in Europe including the UK in recent days, and we are all facing an extremely challenging time. Our first concern is the impact on our loved ones and our day-to-day lives in the coming weeks. 

Aside from any human cost there will undoubtedly be decisions affecting everything we do, including involvement and activities in the world of amateur theatre, with a range of scheduled events. 

Therefore, this is to confirm that The West Midlands Regional Conference and Awards Day, due to be held on SUNDAY 10th May, will now not take place. 

This decision, though extremely disappointing for us all, is a necessary one; the reasons for which I am sure you fully appreciate. We can only look forward to next year when all being well, we will be in a much better position to once more hold our annual event. 

On behalf of the committee I would like to thank those who have already made a booking for the event, to our trader partners, workshop organisers and others for their commitment to NODA. We all appreciation the help, support and co-operation thus far to the management and staff at what would have been a new venue. 

This initial notification is designed to remove any doubt that may be in your minds on whether the event would be cancelled. In the coming days we will be: 

• Arranging refunds for all bookings 
• Contacting Trader Partners 
• Advising timings for announcements on all awards
