Sister Act

Based on the 1992 film, Sister Act tells the story of aspiring disco diva Deloris Van Cartier. Trying to make it in 1970's Philadelphia, she witnesses a murder committed by her married lover. In order to keep her "safe", she is put in protective custody in the one place that nobody will think to look - a convent that has fallen on hard times!

Though the "new" rigid lifestyle is everything she hates, Deloris finds her calling working with the nuns in the choir. Using her disco moves and singing talent to inspire them, new life is given to the church and community. Will Deloris' safe haven be enough to protect her?

Sister Act is a joyous feel-good musical comedy. It celebrates the universal power of friendship, sisterhood and music.
