30th Anniversary School Production of ‘Legally Blonde’
This year's Senior School production is ‘Legally Blonde - The Musical’ which will run from Wednesday 11th – Saturday 14th March 2026. The performances will include a range of students from Years 9 and above and is a highlight of the Hulme Grammar School's calendar.
This year we are celebrating our 30th school musical; the first being ‘Oliver’ directed by John Budding in 1996. We want to bring together as many people as possible to celebrate our current students and reminisce about the brilliant memories many of our alumni have of this huge annual event.
Each performance will take place in the main hall and begin at 7.30pm except for Saturday when the performance will begin at 5.00pm. We hope that students will be able to attend the show as well as our families. We advise you to arrive early as seats are unreserved with doors opening an hour before the performance.
There will be an interval with refreshments and a raffle. Tickets are now available via Trybooking priced at £12 for adults and £6 for under 18s. Tickets are now available at the following link: https://www.trybooking.com/uk/events/landing/96197
‘Legally Blonde: The Musical’ follows perky, pink-loving sorority girl Elle Woods, whose life gets flipped when her boyfriend Warner dumps her for being "too blonde" for Harvard Law School. Determined to win him back and prove she's smart, Elle follows him to Harvard, discovers her knack for law, and triumphs by successfully defending exercise queen Brooke Wyndham in a murder trial, ultimately realizing her own potential and finding love with Emmett Forrest. Please note that this production contains innuendo and some bad language. We hope most of the family can accept the comic intention as we are not allowed to change the script.
