Hadestown: Teen Edition follows the intertwining myths of Orpheus & Eurydice and Hades & Persephone, telling a folk-opera story of love, hardship, and hope in a post-apocalyptic world. A starving Eurydice trades her soul for security in the industrial underworld (Hadestown), prompting musician Orpheus to journey there, armed with his music, to win her back from King Hades, all while exploring themes of faith, nature vs. industry, and the power of love.
