Come From Away

Come From Away is the remarkable true story of 7,000 airline passengers who found themselves stranded in a small town in Newfoundland, and the community of Gander that welcomes them with open arms.  Set in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 terririst attacks, the musical unfolds over five extraordinary days in which fear and uncertainty were met with generosity, humour and compassion. 

Told through a driving score of rock-folk music and quick-paced storytelling, Come From Away is a celebration of kindness, resilience, and the power of community. The cast plays multiple roles - both locals and 'plane people' - shifting seamlessly from one moment to the next to create a vibrant, living portrait of real events.
