When eccentric inventor Caractacus Potts discovers a battered old racing car destined for the scrap heap, he decides to restore it with the help of his imaginative children, Jeremy Potts and Jemima Potts. What begins as a simple project soon turns into something extraordinary when they discover the car has magical properties—including the ability to float on water and even take flight through the skies.

But adventure quickly turns to danger when the greedy and tyrannical Baron Bomburst learns of the enchanted vehicle and becomes determined to possess it for himself. With the help of the delightful Truly Scrumptious and the wonderfully eccentric Grandpa Potts, the Potts family sets off on a thrilling journey filled with invention, imagination, and heart.
