Pilkington Musical Theatre Company are an established amateur dramatic group with over 90 years of history under their belt. The society was originally founded by employees of the world famous Pilkingtons Glass corporation, and many productions were directed and performed by employees. Although no longer affiliated with the company, the society is continuing to go from strength to strength. Over the last few years they have taken a conscious effort to perform 'newer' musicals, such as; Boogie Nights, The Wedding Singer and 'Our House - the Madness Musical', Acorn Antiques, Sister Act, 9 to 5 The Musical, Addams Family and The Producers and the audiences seem to be loving them! The next scheduled musical is Nativity! The musical due to be staged at Carmel College in November 2024.
