East Cheshires Musical Theatre Company are part of District 1 in the NODA NW region. Formed in 1910 The East Cheshires Musical Theatre Company has come a long way from its humble beginnings. They're now one of South Manchester’s most respected amateur musical theatre companies, attracting many talented individuals from as far afield as Preston, Shropshire and of course from within the Greater Manchester area.
The company started life, like many others, being formed by members of the choir of a Parish Church, in our case in Cheadle Hulme and was initially known as the Bramhall and Cheadle Hulme Amateur Operatic Society.
ECMTC in recent years have performed at the RNCM, Stockport College and the Altrincham Garrick Playhouse.
