CODY Musical Theatre Company

Cody has been going from strength to strength, and are approaching our 100th year. We have, in the past re-created some of the most challenging shows that have been on the West End stage such as Jesus Christ Superstar (first Amateur company to have been given the rights to stage this show following it’s run in the West End), Chess, The Producers, Hairspray & Legally Blonde, to name but a few and have been privileged to have received several regional & national awards from the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) to which we are affiliated.

We rehearse throughout the year on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings and stage two major musical productions annually. Rehearsals take place at Velmead Junior School, Velmead Road, Fleet and the productions are performed at the Princes Hall, Aldershot in late March and September of each year. We are an extremely social and friendly company, welcoming new members of all ages to join us wherever your talents lie – whether it be in performing, directing, technical support, or any of the many interesting roles that surround a large musical theatre group.
