Carlton Theatre Group

Carlton is Wimbledon's longest-running amataeur dramatics group and has been going strong since 1927.

We typically produce three main productions a year, in May, August and November, which are usually staged in the Studio at New Wimbledon Theatre, with a full cast auditioned for each production. Anyone is welcome to come along to our auditions and social events, dates of which are announced well in advance on our website, www.carltontheatregroup.co.uk

Carlton also hosts the annual Carlton Showcase; an opportunity to showcase short sketches, skits, scenes and show tunes. We welcome not only budding actors, but also directors, and those with an interest in stage management, lighting and sound production. We're a friendly group, with a good mix of younger and older members, and plenty of opportunities to socialise throughout the year.
