West Side Story

Simply staged, with much of the action taking place in the composite playground/street area, excellent singing from principals and chorus and great dancing, this was a very good show by IODS Youth.

The movement around your set was very good; some excellent pictures were created, well lit and with the follow spots bang on. The recorded click track gave the full orchestral sound and the performers were all perfectly in time. America, The Rumble and Officer Krupke were all highlights.

Your performers were a real team; all working together with confidence and in colourful costumes which added much. The chorus gave good vocal support to the strong principals. The Director ought to be rightly proud of bringing the whole piece together.
