We Will Rock You - Young@Part

Firstly welcome to NODA, and what an entrance We Will Rock You Young@Part made. Simple staging with a rostra and TV screens greeted the audience and soon the whole stage transformed into what can only be described as a rock concert.

The use of light and video enhanced the whole experience but also gave a number of the younger cast opportunities as they had been filmed and edited to tell elements of the piece. Soon we were introduced to the candy pink haired GaGa’s ,Khashoggi, Buddy,Galileo and Scaramouche, and the basic concept began to unfold. Buddy (11 Years Old) had excellent comic timing and had the audience giggling with is cheeky delivery, Galileo and Scaramouche showed love and music can conquer all (two of the older members and were vocally strong and held the audience captive). The Bohemian rebels led by Oz and Brit fought the cause with gusto and although she was very haughty and controlling beat the Killer Queen. 

Queen music is hard to sing as Mr Mercury had a massive vocal range but EYT had a really good go and presented this musical with finesse, the audience adored it and were itching to get up and dance throughout. Congratulations on your fantastic full houses and giving Exmouth a brilliant start to the summer.
