We Will Rock You

I had never seen the original so I was very excited. When I arrived the atmosphere was amazing, people really happy and upbeat – age was no barrier.

What a delight the whole production was. The Cygnet Players delivered a powerful, heartfelt and energetic show.

The large and talented cast filled the stage with enthusiasm and commitment. The use of the large interactive screen to portray scenes worked well and helped maintain the pace of this fast-moving production

One of the standout things about the show was the amazing visual spectacle created. As a non-technical person even I was able to see how the lasers, laser effects, and lighting helped bring the plot forward and solidified this production as a unique piece of theatre.

The choreography was lively and vigorous; making use of the whole stage The dancers were excellent and performed with great style.

The musical director worked with a really good ensemble of singers, who produced accomplished performances. Each of the numbers had been well rehearsed and developed with great harmonies. The much-loved Queen arrangements were performed with great skill by the 7-piece band.

The supporting cast and crew, of which there were many, were all well-observed and added to the energy and comedy of the production, making each scene a delight.

Congratulations to all of the Cygnet Players for such an outstanding production.
