The directorial vision for this production was clear, focused and well executed. There was a good balance between the satirical moments and those more heartfelt moments. Mark had worked with the cast to give good line delivery and perfect timing of their lines. The pacing was well managed with transitions between scenes and songs being slick and smooth. The main acting space and multimedia elements were used creatively to add interesting dimensions to the production. It was clear that the directing team had a invested a lot of time into working with the cast to deliver a cohesive, heartfelt and exhilarating production. All of the cast were totally invested in their roles, working with boundless enthusiasm,  good characterisations, and strong vocal performances. And for us the audience the opportunity to fully immerse ourselves into the world of Queen’s music.

The quality of singing in this show was very good and under the musical direction of MD Jane, the group delivered some accomplished musical performances. Each of the numbers had been well developed and the cast executed the multilevel harmonies synonymous with Queen very well. She also led the 6-piece band who performed the familiar but complex Queen arrangements with great skill making a tremendous and authentic sound.

The choreography was a spectacle in itself, and some of the best that I have seen in my time as NODA Representative. It was dynamic, dazzling and original and was performed with precision by the cast who had lots of energy and performed the dances with synchronicity and excellent detail.
