Twelfth Night

There is an inherent danger in open air performances subject to the vagaries of a British summer. Fortunately, apart from initial threatening sprinkles, the rain stayed away and an audience, including a number of very young people, were treated to an exceptionally entertaining afternoon. With Illyrian inhabitants cast as circus performers and a number of actor/musicians, there was plenty to engage the audience at multiple levels. A female Malvolio also mixed the narrative up. This was an extremely confident production superbly executed by everyone involved.
