This trip around Pantoland was a cocktail of pantomime characters giving each of the large cast a chance to display their talents.

Rachel Jones put her stamp on her role as Wizard receiving her well deserved Boos from the audience, whilst the trio of Witches Jodie Wilson, Michaela Jones and Eirlys Walker fully justified their selection to the cast. There were numerous panto characters in the piece with Rachel Stork dominating the cast in a very wordy role as Wicked Queen, brilliantly played. Timmy Morris gained many wolf whistles as the traditional Widow Twankey. Pierce Jones played Frog Prince Robert and doubled up as Ghost No 1 with his mate Sean Sullivan as Ghost No 2 in a clever Ghost Busters routine. Kayleigh Hughes was perfect as Amelia Sweetheart and blended well with Prince Robert played by Phoebe Newman-Walker. Lydia Newman-Walker gained a lot of sympathy from the audience as the downtrodden Bert Butterfingers, whilst there was a nice contribution from Charlie Doherty as Mirror.

The chorus and dancers were well drilled, singing their hearts out, whilst costumes were well chosen. Congrats to back stage staff, sound and lighting which all added to a most enthusiastic and enjoyable production.
