To write and also appear in your own play is a great achievement and talented Alex Mc Intosh
made this his own goal, with his very successful play Three Steps to Heaven taking to the stage with the skilled actors of EVODS.
Writing a play takes many months of dedication to the project and Alex Mc Intosh had this in plenty.
This was an interesting farce using all the skills of this talented cast.
First there was a search for a Beryl , and what a surprise when Rose Mc Intosh took her debut role
and was a narural on stage! You would think she had performed many roles and yet this was her first time on stage, an excellent and totally believable performance.
Eric, her Husband on stage and off was played very well by the well versed Alex Mc Intosh always very good with comedy bringing out every nuance! Crispin Michael Fleming, also played an amusing character so professional in every part he plays. Then we had the Honeymoon couple from Blaine Jones as Simon and Sadie Jones as Janet.
Talk about saucy,….!!! Well…. it was hilarious and both played fabulous parts, very funny, and we even had Simon who loved his drink, asleep on the stage in the interval!! These two have perfect chemistry together and are such interesting actors.
Tania from Sian Edwards played a great part, her indifference to everything with her straight face
was a revelation and screamingly funny.
Penny, Julie Wyatt and Jenny, Mandy Phillips completed the cast with excellent interaction and very good diction.
Alex Mc Intosh must have achieved great satisfaction to see his play performed, Congratulations to you.
Congratulations also and well done EVODS, I look forward to the next one.
We thank you for your kind hospitality and warm welcome.
