The Worst Witch

Audiences familiar with the original Jill Murphy books and BBC television adaptations will not have been disappointed with this musical version. An all-female Erith Playhouse cast presented a polished performance with great solo and ensemble vocal work, including confident harmonisation. Especially given staging limitations without the advantages of more sophisticated flying facilities, there was imaginative use of available space, and a talented company presented some cleverly choreographed work.
