The Wiz

For the change from their usual style to this 1970s American version of The Wizard of Oz, ROS managed to assemble a very talented cast fully at home with the special skills required, who delighted the large (and younger than usual) audience with the music, the offbeat humour and the pizzazz. Designed throughout by the Director and involving many of the children from their Stageworks junior section, resident talent (including a superb Dorothy) featured equally with the newcomers.
