The Thrill of Love

This was an evening of high quality theatre. Beaufort Players' production of this thought-provoking play had first-class attention to detail throughout, with super technical support. The dialogue – with solid consistent accents - was meaningful, with good variations in pace. The direction brought out the humour of the lighter moments, and a tribute to the excellent ensemble work is that, despite the fact that we all knew the ending, Ruth’s execution was shocking and very sad.
