Venturing into the realm of writer/director Kevin Stratton created this piece combining the themes of new girl at school, the dreaded OFSTED and the power hungry land owner in to making a fast buck, supported by songs by the likes of the Black Eyed Peas and Queen. The young people met him head on with lots of energy and vigour although their young voices were challenged by the pitch of a couple of numbers. Miss Hope and Miss Andrews meeting was so true to life this must have come from observing their own teachers in break times. The whole persona of Miss Hope was beautifully drawn and this is certainly a young lady to watch for future productions. Set was suitable and simple enough for the small Art Centre stage and as always technically sound. Costume was suitable although a more defined costume change for Phillip and Phyllis when playing the Rundown kids would have helped the audience immensely. This was a production full of team work and enthusiasm and it showed, well done to all involved.
