The Producers is a musical about two producers discovering that they can make bigger profits by producing a flop from a box office point of view than have a big hit on their hands. They acquire a supposed definite theatrical bomb (Springtime For Hitler) which turns out to be most amusing and a great success. The audience found the show very funny and enjoyed every minute of it. Max Bialystock (James Sidgwick) as one of the producers gave an outstanding performance in his role which called for great stamina as well as superb acting ability. Leo Bloom (Fraser Wilkinson) as Max's partner gave just as equally fine performance acting wise as well as showing us some excellent vocal contributions. Ulla Inga Hansen Benson Yonsen Tallen Hallen Svaden Swanson (Laura Siddall) gave one of the most eye catching performances I have seen as the Swedish actress with her brilliantly choreographed very saucy number (When You've Got It Flaunt It). Roger De Bris (David Hall) and Carmen Ghia (Matthew Jameson) as the directors brought in for 'Spring For Hitler' again gave fantastic OTT very camp portrayals. Franz Liebkind (Mark Rogers) as the outrageous ex nazi who was at his best with his version of Haben Sie Gehort Das Deutsche Band. The production team worked wonders with this very entertaining production.
