This was a delicious production which incorporated everything you look for in a Gilbert and Sullivan show; excellent singing, strong characters, lively movement from all and for a beautiful spectacle incorporating set and costumes. The Victorian Normansfield Theatre still contains the original Ruddigore ancestors on the wall from the D'Oyly Carte production and is ideal for such period pieces. Traditional yet with plenty of modern comedic moments for everyone to enjoy. It was strongly cast throughout.
