Harrow Opera presented 'The Magic Flute' in classic style. The cast of talented singers treated the audience to a series of delightful Mozart arias & harmonies in the ensemble music. The famous "The Revenge of Hell" was impressive as were the other solos by Tamino, Pamina & Sarastro. The trios of Ladies and Spirits sang in gorgeous harmonies and the light relief was nicely provided by Papgeno & Papagena and the inept villain Monostatos. This, the final opera by Mozart has overtones of the Free Mason Fraternity as the hero seeks wisdom and enlightenment as reason and virtue triumph over irrationality and evil.
