The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (RSC Version)

Argosy's fine Scenic Team made light of the split between Scotland (in the auditorium) and Narnia (up carpeted stairs to the stage and, of course, through the wardrobe) with the former assembled and dismantled in seconds by the guardians (from the junior chorus) of each individual item of furniture and the latter inventively hinged. Definitive portraits of adults, real or mythical, and four nicely assorted (real) children plus chorus of small animals made good entertainment and the audience youngsters loved the magic.
