A very brave choice to stage an relatively unknown play, and in my opinion a fantastic choice. Through calculated lighting and a clever set design, time was transformed into a transient thing as the narrative jumped between past and present throughout the performance.

Joe Munn [Tom Dawson], Harri Herniman [Joe Andrews] and Calum O’Neill [Stanley Watkins] gave three exceptional performances. The concentration and delivery of each character is a credit to each of their acting abilities. These performances would not go a miss on the professional stage.

Strong performances were given by Doireann Gilmore [Peggy Watkins], Flora Kerridge [Jenny Wilson] and Sam Jennings [Edmund Carrington] creating some excellent interaction with the three young men. Ably supported by the rest of the cast.

The director had cast the play well, everyone fitting his/her roles well, and the production had lots of beautiful performances. And the music choice suited this production and added to the overall feel.

A excellently directed production which produced some excellent moments of good theatre. I absolutely loved this play, never heard of it but will be looking into it in more depth.

One criticism is that due to the size of the venue and lack of microphones, some of the dialogue was missed, especially if the action was taking place far stage right/left and you were seated the opposite side of the auditorium.

This was quite a brave choice of play in the current climate and I would urge you to continue to be bold in your choices and help to push boundaries in non professional.

An excellent piece of teamwork. Well done to everyone involved.
